Levinas: The Passion According to Mark - A Passion after Auschwitz

Michaël Levinas's oratorio confronts the Passion narrative with the memory of the Holocaust, using references to Bach while refusing a simple retelling. The work was commissioned for events marking the 500th anniversary of the Reformation and premiered in April 2017.
